850wagonT5
Ive had many BOV's on auto cars, from greddy, turbo smart, SSQV, Ebay knock off's, RFL....and others. The loudest one yet has been my GReddy Type S. Its been modified numerous times, with different springs and shorter/longer adjustment bolts. The only issues ive had over the years is sometimes at a red light/stopping the rpms drop a bit, and loud backfires. The SSQV takes the cake on reliability thou. never once did I have a drop in RPM's or leaking/vacume issues Mine is routed back into the intake, so I've never experienced any of those issues with it. 850T5M
Just curious how to adjust my TurboSmart BOV? I have it set to 50/50 recirc/atmosphere. When adjusting the spring tension, should the turbo flutter at all on light throttle lifts? At the moment the car sometimes flutters (barely) and sometimes doesn't, depending on how fast I let off the gas. When pushing more than like 1PSI it doesn't flutter. Is this right, or should I have it softer, and therefore never flutter? I'm asking this because if its set too soft, I have problems with RPM hang/raising between shifts and lean conditions at startup. Thanks!

Burn-E
Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but the highest form of intelligence. No knuckle dragging allowed around here. But if you think we're bad, you really haven't spent enough time in other euro forums. What's hilarious is that you've posted this in an ancient thread that was once a matter of intense debate but was eventually realized by all as a huge waste of time on this forum. Install it, don't install it, do whatever makes you happy.
