Just plug and play and the odometer and all else works? GaryONLY on the early 98 clusters afaik. This is because the newer ones have the abs hooked up to it. Carbon_R Posted February 4, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 4, 2008 Good friend of mine swapped out his IIC to the VEMS and gained a substantial amount at the dyno.Theoretically the VEMS will tune any turbo app w/ the best datalogging possible, MAFless.His first gen S4 w/ a GT 3071R/ injectors/full exhaust / 034 intake/044 pump/Scat rods/Head gasket,etc just pulled a monster run peaking at 35lbs of boost, and held 30.Just under 400 whp. This is a daily driver.Since you've got forged internals.....throw in some Toulene in the tank and hit their dyno. Curious what your R is going to lay down.Good luck.MikeNice numbers on that S4, I like those Audi's. I bet it pulls like a raped ape I'm too looking forward to see what the GT3082R puts out, I had a chance to go with a Wolf EMS, I had it on my old 94 FD3 with a single turbo (T60-1) and that thing was awesome. All you need is to build a harness for the Volvo and your set. This is because the newer ones have the abs hooked up to it.Yes it works, buy a cluster from an early 98 model, I mean "early" without the ABS box on top of the cluster just like in the pictures and its plug/play affair, disconnet boost gauge hose and plug it.
