Zulu
Looks great man, I remember back when FMICs were questioned...ahh, still hurts my brain. I'd just say when you have some extra money, replace that core with something quality. For $200 everyone should be picking this up and doing this in their driveway...Also, why the one steel bend to the TB? Didn't wanna bother with a aluminum BOV flange? haha

I'd just say when you have some extra money, replace that core with something quality. For $200 everyone should be picking this up and doing this in their driveway...Yeah, I have to say it was definitely worth the price. Especially if it pulls nearly as hard in the summer. I had a chance to drive ~100 miles on it last night and this morning. Acceleration is smoother, boost comes on faster, and everything else I stated in the initial post. I am MORE than happy with my purchase. If I decide to upgrade the turbo or build the internals I will buy a precision core.
Oreo931
Also, why the one steel bend to the TB? Didn't wanna bother with a aluminum BOV flange? hahaI had to work with what I had. I didnt have any other way to connect the BOV to the piping, other than buying a new flange and having it welded. I dont know anyone local who can weld, and I didnt want to have the car sitting for a couple days. I was anxious to drive it . I also did NOT want to put the CBV back on. My blanking plate was such a PITA to put on, I was trying to avoid doing that over at all costs.
Zulu
Keep your eye on supraforums for a core, they usually sell great HKS, Greddy, etc. cores for nice prices. And haha, I completely understand about the BOV. You should see how my intercooler piping reduces into the TB. haha

More pictures!!!Thanks! The ebay link is mentioned several times in the thread, look around and you should find it. The routing would be almost identical except for the fact that I am pretty sure your car has an air pump and mine does not. I'll get some pictures the next time I wash her, shes filthy now. jazzyjeff
^^^ yeah. I clicked on the eBay link but didnt look at it until after I posted so I edited it. doh...Also, did they send any mounting items like some sleeves/spacers, bolts, or brackets? I didnt see any listed. I know you said you have it mounted with some wire and zip ties but do you have any idea on how you're going to permanently mount it? Thanks again. Sorry for bothering you...lol
