Ride R,

You're not bringing your "R"? ..... what salt were you talking about?

My car doesn't get driven in snow or salt. we just had some nice heavy rain today, but there are a few chances of snow or snow showers between now and sunday. I will have to get a salt report before i decide to take the R.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

New thread here folks as some things have changed slightly (sorry). I have scheduled us for a group rate at Lehigh Valley Grand Prix from 12:00PM to 1:30PM. The original plan was to arrive between 12 and 1, but unfortunately, they are booked later on in the day with a party of 100+

The group rate is $45/person for 2 runs which we should definitely get, and $60/person if we do 3 runs. We will also have a room to hang out in during that time. It is suggested we arrive at 11:30AM for orientation (these are gas-powered karts that go 45+ MPH!), so that has changed.

Right now, I have dinner reservations at Buca Di Beppo for 5:45, but I'm thinking I should reschedule for lunch instead. Any thought on that matter would be greatly appreciate. Otherwise, I can find a venue for us to do our "Volvo Thing" between that time.

I would like to come but my car is an embarrassment.

Talk about embarassing...

My 245 hasn't been properly washed in 3 weeks. My backseat is loaded with gum wrappers and empty juice boxes, courtesy of my kidlets. The dashboard and console are covered in dust. My windshield moulding is still falling apart, my LH headlamp is misalligned...not to mention that infamous hole in my fr. bumpercover. And I'll probably have very little time to correct any of these issues before Sunday.

The bottom line....GtGs & gatherings aren't ALL about the cars. They're more about the folks behind the wheel. C'mon out anyway.

i will be there in the polar white 855R.

weather is looking good!! sunny with 40 degrees forecast, according to the NOAA.gov website.

roads should be dry, so no reason not to bring your garage queens ;-)

Actually going to get some kinda mixed precip Friday, so they will probably salt and my "garage queen" will stay nice and dry at home. :(

Which side & what condition are they in. I already have an almost new OE LH side headlamp which I have to install...lookin' for an OE RH side.
