7 VII 7
The Joke is on McCain since nobody is talking about him now that he has the parties nomination.thats becuase he has nothing against him. Hillary and Obama are like children fighting for the nomination. Its sad because it is showing their true colors...Obama had hardly the history to become a great political reprsenativeMcCain = LOTS more money and time in Iraq.I would not say LOTS more money, but he will continue to support the troops over there. How would you feel if your son was over there and America starts to take funds from the military to protect themselves and your son? oh sorry we can not give you armored tanks or body armor because Hillary/Obama said no more... oh sorry your son is not going to be home ever.its just stupid to take funds from them because it will hurt a lot more of the soliders than help.... and el director.. you agree with the Dem National Health care policy? that is going to be a mess
Spanky
both democratic candidates are a joke... they are showing their true colors by slandering each other... and where the heck did Obama come from? the Democrats have not had a strong / experienced candidate since Bill.Hillary is just going to cry when her approval rating goes down her 2nd year in office. You better stick to the big decisions, like "when are you going to mount those wheels" . Most are to scared to bring it up, being a war hero and all. He will spend a lot more money in Iraq, he has promised to "finish" the war, even though everyone has lost sight of why we "started" it in the first place. Failure at both ends. And I will include the usual disclaimer that I support, respect, and admire the men and women there for what they are doing, just not the politicians that sent them there on false pretences.I was wrong on Obama, I really thought he would win TX. The bickering and attention is because they are so close in the delegate race. I think it will come down to the actual Convention. I bet they share the ticket, it just depends on who winds up on top Clinton/Obama Obama/Clinton would crush anything the Republican party could muster up, unless they change the laws and the Terminator runs for VP I do not believe in a National Health care plan, it would be a mistake for many, many, many reasons. I had a student transfer from Canada to the U.S. to our school for the sole reason of seeing a doctor in the U.S. quickly. He had a serious head injury playing hockey, but the doctors couldn't see him until 3 months down the road because he didn't qualify for urgent care, given their diagnosis of his injury. This is not including the PT bills, them going into my spine under fluroscopy, X rays, yada yada. I am not telling you this to be a little B*tch........ I just thought maybe you guys would like to talk to someone first hand who is getting butt slammed by the health care industry . So when I was 6 years old some fat lady fell on me at the skating rink, breaking my femur in 3 places (and NO im not BSing). I already knew this was coming.......they are going to try to pull a prexisting with me!!!! Yes you can get into to a Dr rather quickly here.....Yes you can choose your Dr...... and Yes plan on paying $2k out of pocket for a nurse to put a finger up your butt and pulsate your prostate, if the health crime industry feels that you dont count for there probability numbers . Jena
Bottom line is a national health care plan Will Not work in the United States... and it's completely stupid to even think that it will. Doesn't mean shit if it does or doesn't work in Canada, England or France, or where ever else, it's completely irrelevant, cause we're not Canada, England or France. It's pathetic and shameful that a national health care plan is the best we can come up to attempt to solve the issues. This whole country is fucked, imo, and the morons we have running for office offer nothing in the way of making it better... and the united states has no one to blame but themselves. Spanky
Send this to Hillary and see what she can do for ya I am not voting for Hillary . Far left is national health care, far right is every man for himself!! Either way its better than where we are at now. Between the two insurances (individual health care and malpractice insurance), I am sure it takes a Doctors overhead up atleast 500% - 700%. Over the past 20 years Doctors incomes have plummeted (in comparison to the national average income) while health care has gone up by a exponential number. I just find it humorous that people actually do not think our current system is indirectly government controlled. I would in part have to agree with Jena that even with national health care "we be fuct" with the baby boomers hitting their golden years.

Where you get you stats on overhead and plummeting physician incomes I have no idea. Indirect government contol? Have you looked at your paycheck lately? You pay for national health care whether you have insurance or not.
