The Chronicles Of Area 34, formerly 55

So it sounds like you like it? I've got V2s and was considering sways. SUb box in the trunk and the interior is complete.

Well. just had the car out for a ride over some back roads in my area and I think I like it yes. There is even some comfort in the car but there still is the "new KW bounce" which needs to wear off. Also no alignment has been done although it didn't feel that far off. Front camber needs some adjustment and tires were hitting the fenders a couple of times.

Received a K-sport 8-pod brake kit today.

About 6 weeks ago I had a conversation with RICA's Roel Jr. about these brakes and he made me a very nice "offer you can't refuse".

RICA tuned a C30T5 for a customer for semi track use, GT2871 and stuff, and added these brakes just to see how they would manage.

At the same time a complete front and rear kit was added to Roel's race CRX and they had both cars on the Spa F1 track end of March,

Conclusion was that the brakes did fairly well with the C30, there were some doubts about driver abuse.., and they did extremely well with the CRX with it's lesser weight.

For the SD-Charger I needed new and also a tad better brakes but didn't want to go through the whole Porsche Caliper/R-rotor process again. It appeared K-sport made a snap on kit for the 850 so I decided to give it a try. Out of the box the kit is complete including brake lines and also put together very nice. Packed with care and good mounting instructions come with it.

Reviews about these brakes are mixed. I'm not expecting equal better performance than the Porsche or maybe AP setup but I do expect it to be better than the stock 280/300 setup.

They look nicer than the WPs.

They do, but for some reason, I still don't really like them...

What size are the rotors? 8 piston calipers seems a bit overkill if you "expect it to be better than the stock 280/300 setup", but not better than the 332 Porsche/Stoptech Kits.
