gdizzle
I didn't even see the second picture w/ the HUGE RNC..
Johann
3 new light bulbs and a windscreen washer pump overhaul was all it took.. Good for another 2 years. Oldtimers only need "CARB" inspection every 2 years.
gdizzle
Hottness. Chrome mirrors would look great on that car. ;)
andyb5
Johann, there is more win in any 1 of your posts than all of mine combined. I've really enjoyed reading this thread The "RNC" on the pickup tube reminds me of the moose on the cluster circuit board in the 850's
ozzimark
I see it fits into the older blocks without a problem, but what is the advantage? It looks like the actual oil pickup point is lower, making it harder to starve the pump on hard turns?
Johann
The crank pan is completely different with the RNC engine. I guess the oil pickup is changed accordingly.

Johann
Received the head back from the engine shop and put is back on the engine, Head has been resurfaced, valves have been swapped for turbo valves and reseated. Still waiting for a couple of shorter lifter buckets to adjust the play.

Johann
:D Arrived this morning 15 minutes before I did.. Last Friday the sales person already expected the car to be delivered after the weekend but since Monday is his day off I said I would take a look on Monday morning. Car was already unloaded from the truck and parked in "the cellar". Went back this afternoon with both the kids. Car was in the workshop already for PDI. Found one bad spot in the wrap, It's near the rear bumper reflector and hardly noticeable. Also drove the car out of the workshop and back in but the exhaust needs so WOT burning in I guess, was hardly any noise coming from the car. My son made a very short movieclip,
