Hmm. We have a registration sticker attached to the windshield. The plate info & vehicle info is all on that sticker. If someone stole our plates, it would be obvious to the courts that the owner was not the speeder, etc., since the plates wouldn't match the vehicle. You don't have something similar?

Used to be that way. Now no more stickers on the car except for toll stuff in certain Euro countries.

Some progress on the car,

576 km after rebuild.

Exchanged the wheels for new Titans which I bought new over ten years ago..

Exchanged the ECU for a tweaked version. Runs near 14 psi now.

MD and VA have reg stickers on the plates.

Me and H are in the police state of NY, inspection and registration stickers in lower LH of windshield, front and rear plates required and the inspection stickers are color coded by expiration year, thats how I got caught in the S40, cop just had to take one look and see my blue sticker and know it expired sometime in 2013
