Johann
looks good! rear needs to be a little lower though Only installed the coil over strut in the front. I use the same set on the Green sedan and with that car the lowering in the rear was a bit disappointing. Maybe it needs to settle a bit, don't know. I only drove that car for a couple of miles so far. The adjustable spring perch didn't fit nicely over the "whobble" in the bottom of the placeholder in the rear axle so I decided to leave it out and use the spring only. Should gain an extra centimetre of lowering. Still it didn't lower as much as I would have liked. For that reason wanted to try something different first with the Estate. The car comes with Nivomat so I installed so called Nivomat spacers first just to see how low it would end up but it turns out to be 1.5 centimetre higher compared to the Green car. Johann
Changed the rear springs and shock to JOM parts without the adjustable perch just like pictured above. Left the Nivomat spacers and rubbers in place. 2 Centimetre lower compared to the Nivomat plus spacer setup.
Commander Riker
It amazes me how a change of wheels can totally change both the look and attitude of a car.

Leo850T5
I will forever remember SD1 as one of the first cars that got me into Volvos
Johann
Thanks guys. I have good memories of SD1 but SD11 shows potential. Thing is, I could read and write with SD1. Guess I have driven the fastest and most spirited with that 850. The SDM is a close second but is geared toward track usage and does a nice job at that but is down on power. SD-C was the strongest and had the best suspension setup. Brakes were a bit less though. K-Sport instead of the 993TT-R combo for the others. Had the SD11 aligned yesterday. Car is still suffering minor mileage issues. A slight play on the right inner steering knuckle, one of the drive shaft joints has had it best time I guess. Shifter needs some rowing from time to time. Drove some 30 miles with the car. The chipped 2.0T is fun. It is quick on the throttle and holds it's power pretty well across the rev range. The cheap coil over set isn't that bad either. Maybe a bit crude but pretty compliant for what it is. Added a QSP steering wheel, Once bought for SD9. Used to be Blue, Still waiting for a non Airbag slip ring so no horn for the time being but it makes the steering so much nicer. Good old 850 feel again. A thing difficult to achieve in an S/V70 strangely enough. The short term plans. If all goes as planned I will receive a used 993TT-R combo this weekend. Decided to paint the calipers SD Green and add Brembo decals in Black. 10 mm spacers are needed to make them fit behind the TDR's. The engine needs a little stage 0. The steering and drive shafts need attention. Considering moving the battery to the trunk. Install reversed IC plumbing I received from a friend. This mainly because SD1 also used to have it.
