I had completely forgotten about the C30! Looking forward to an update on it.

Yeah.. Me 2..

To little time plus I don't know what I want.

The plan was to focus on the 242 but then I ran in to the Carrier. The 242 basically had to be finished last year and I came a long way but missed the deadline at the time. Did work on it from time to time. Replaced the clutch and worked on wiring. Engine is running but is leaking oil somewhere at a block split. Best would be to pull the engine.. Car is suspended at the moment.

The C30 had become a money pit and after the acquiring RS500 I somehow lost direction with the C30. Still not sure what to do with it. It has become a difficult animal. I'm totally not happy with the way the ATP bolts on. I know a couple of people have been driving with this setup but I think there is way to little room between the hot and the cold parts. Thought about putting a very expensive "gold" K16 on but then it will become another RS500 which I don't want to happen either. Since the car is a 1.6 NA the electronic part is also a nightmare. Currently I'm at the point where I have more or less decided to make it another track car. Don't think it will pass inspection with the 5 cylinder engine and the 3" exhaust anymore. The plan is to pull all the wiring which is CAN related from the car and rewire "from scratch". For this to happen its convenient to have the car at the new workshop. Maybe spend half an hour a day to get the job done. All other the package is sort of complete. The EHPS needs new routing for the hoses to clear the crank pulley. A couple of IC hoses are still needed. Rear part of the 3" exhaust needs to be done, probably 3" to a Y split 2x 2.5". Not sure yet to go cable throttle or ETB. The Standalone still needs to be wired in and I could prep for ETB. The cable converted throttle pedal is still in place. ETB pedal is three bolts and a connector so not that much work but I fear the adjustment of the ETB in the standalone. All PID stuff, not really my cup of thee.

Spring is here and I guess the SDM will need to see a track again this year. Was thinking about taking it to the track back in March but the track day was cancelled because of the weather.

Did a checkup but no more than that. Car needs a new main fuel line. Has developed a crack in the outer shrink fit hose near the connector. Has been on the lift for weeks now.

The Opel Blitz needs it's crank pan replaced before renewing the biyearly inspection certification. Currently working on it.

For the Carrier I acquired a 2.5T motor. Currently investigating which parts are needed to rebuild the engine bay to OEM 2.5T. I guess the rebuild will only take a couple of days when all the parts are there but still needs to be done.

The 142 is suspended at the moment. Promised the car to my oldest son. Engine needs overhaul. Needs to be ready in a year.. :)

And the Datto is also suspended. Drove 30 miles with the car in 2 years. Could find the strength to prep the car for it's biannual inspection..

As it appears I have become an expert in creating my own dilemma's.. :P

Late last year I acquired a '59 Chevy Apache. Because of it's age, before 1960, it doesn't need inspection anymore. Needs some minor maintenance. Drive it on occasion for the fun of it.
