(n)A-GAME
I like how it says 'spy shooters'. As if someone hid out in the Arctic Circle just to take some pics of a car. LOL actually someone probably did hide just to get that shot. The photographer probably made anywhere from 10-25 thousand dollars depending on how many auto magazines bought it from him/her and how "in-demand" knowledge about this car is to the people who publish those magazines.Less torque than a HMMWV though chuck ;)

BAREASS
Yeah this thing looks crappy right now. There aren't many wagons that I like, and it doesn't look like this is going to be one of them.
fitsofrage99
the one in the article looks better than the one on the page...which looks like a 2 door rav 4...not swedish by any means...but then again...change of ownership.

V is for Volvo
looks like a Saab+1 ... it has the potential to be a sharp looking vehicle though, but i guess only time will tell. i'm anxious to see how much interior room it will have.looks like a Saab+1 ... it has the potential to be a sharp looking vehicle though, but i guess only time will tell. i'm anxious to see how much interior room it will have. BAREASS
Its an SUV. Smaller version of the XC90.If anything, it looks like a crossover. They call a Chrystler Pacifica an SUV/Crossover, but does that mean I don't call it what it is -- a minivan? But have it your way. lookforjoe
Interesting Times article - thanks for the link! The vehicle looks like doodoo - they've certainly come a long way in disguising the vehicles - I remember pics of the "Matsuo ZT80" - essentially bits of tape to disrupt the body lines.. Che'_Moderator
Pasted from my rant about it last week:The "R Design" is freaken retarded. First the "R" S60 and V70. They were total jokes. LX60 maybe. But the S60 and V70R were not performance oriented at all. So ok we get past that and now we have the "r design". Its a knock off of a slow car? WTF. I do not see the performance appeal of the R to begin with, but now they want to pawn off a car on me with even less HP and handling. Bill we need to sit down and have another talk. Volvo needs something and this was not it.

Che'_Moderator
probably better suited response for the new "R design" thread.Posted in the wrong one. I'll past it there too. I litterally cannot say enough ho bad of an idea the "Re design" is. Conservative buyers who do not car about performance also do not care about aero packages. They people who do care want some balls to back it up
