uhhh... glad you're ok man. That just sucks though.. hopefully things will workout and you can put the new motor to use

Yes, I'm actually on the phone with the insurance company now. Hope it works out.

Dude this sucks .

But just a quick look at the pics , I think its totaled .

whats the milage ?

the biggest part that would be expensive to fix would be the top rail whre the fend and front mount to that is mangled.

What I would look for a is a full front clip . and have that welded on.

last clip I bought was a few years ago and that 1200.00

but if you could find a black one all you would have is maybe 300-500 in welding for the front and you should be good.

Though I'm not too keen on doing so, I agree... I think it's totaled.

Appraiser is coming out tomorrow and we'll see what she says.

If its not totalled, the April meet we can have some beers and put on some parts if you have some by then. Sorry to see this happen Joe. Hopefully everything works out for you.

Thanks man. B) If it isn't totalled, the car will either be in the shop or ready again by the April meet. If I don't go through insurance, I can easily repair it myself in a weekend, and get the replacement parts here within the next 10-14 days. Just debating spending the $800-$1000 for all the parts I'll need vs. going through insurance with $500 deductible.

your exhaust and down pipe then how much

I have done the welding the front end on and as long as its not the frame rail itself or where the struts mount to its not that big of a deal

the car will drive straight and you will never notice the difference other then weld areas.

my 01t5 is that way and it runs perfect.

Damn, it sucks to see this happen to such a nice/clean car...

Good news is: The pass side fender is in great shape

Bad new is: You'll need a Complete Front End, because of the damage that was done to the driver's side...

If you have any insurance ppl look at the car they WILL write it off as being totaled, because to repairing it means that major welding has to be done along w/ body work, paint, etc.

HOPE IT ALL WORKS OUT FOR THE BETTER...JUST KEEP US UPDATED...

Insurance would not only be the $500 deductible but the increase in rates over the next 3 years...It may turn out to be cheaper in the long run to not go through insurance on this one.
