Thats not what Elliot told me but seeing as both of dont run your 850's every day I see why Elliot doesn't think this to be a problem..

I would agree with that. I used to have a CEL until the latest tiny revision to the idle fuel numbers and I haven't seen it since. It's pretty sensitive stuff really. Of course if you get non fuel related codes something else is up. But there isn't a technical reason why af TT should give you a CEL where a stock ECU doesn't, aside from inaccuracies in the mapping (which does take a good amount of time to get right)

Florian's car I mapped for example had a vague CEL from the get-go and that turned out to be a loose electrical connection to a piece of the PCV system. These things can be hard to track down..

I have never had any problems with CEL.Only ever had one and it was my fault as the part throttle trims were to far out :blink: .TT has been fantastic for Jan and i has helped really learn about these engines,and realise just how average the maps that get sold are!!My car could be used every day,it would make no difference.

WOW I must of totally miss understood Elliot you when we last spoke regarding why my Turbo-Tuner wasn't seeing my knock censer..
