Thank you guys for your advices. For the manifold from Sweden I was thinking to buy it and change the flange for a T3.And also to go to an exhaust shop and find a way on the collector to add the ext. wastegate port. But I also like the other from ATP.Now for the turbo I am between GARRETT and TURBONETICS.From Garrett I would go for GT3076R but with 0.64 A/R,because I will not go very high with engine revs. The sure is that I am not thinking to buy R manifold.Because it is very expensive I beleive,I will some research in the next days because the engine is almost ready and haven't decided yet what to do.Probably I will put the stock mani, turbo for the first km.and then I will change them.

I opted to use my stock manifold.

I'm in a similar place with my build. My turbo is a GT35R .63 A/R. Should be fun fitting that monster inbetween the engine and firewall!

It's tight for sure. It doesn't look bad here, but trying to wiggle it on once the studs are installed in the manifold is a bit tricky. I ended up cutting the studs down a bit to make it easier.

Mark this turbo is giant for there!!And do you have the stock R manifold?about the oil feed and return lines is any specific dimension-diameter for each turbo?Because I have seen that many people talk about failures because of these if they are incorrect.

Yes, it's an "S60R" manifold with the lip machined off the flange. With this I was able to use the stock oil return. It was a bit tight so I removed some material from the little flange on the drain tube and it fit perfectly.

For the oil feed and coolant lines, I just bought steel braided lines and the appropriate fittings. I made a thread about all the fittings & lines needed and their sizes etc..

Fake AN fittings for shame :P

T25 flange is not that big of a deal. ID it has a smooth collector and is built even have way decent it will flow way more than the head. Just install a t25-t2 adapter. That takes care of the flange issue and wastegate.

This GT3071R has divided T3 housing with small A/R (0.78)

You should go for something like this: http://cgi.ebay.ca/GENUINE-Garrett-GT3071R...oQQcmdZViewItem

With 4" aluminium inlet and 1.06 A/R.

Unless you go for a GT3076 also with 4” inlet and a small housing 0.63 A/R. In every case there are internal w.g. options.

But firstly you have to choose you manifold.

Probably you can break in your engine, with your old manifold and turbo.

So you will have the time to find the rest for your new set up.

And Toymad will have also time to turn you to Turbonetics… :D:D:D :P

It is starting to get confusing all this thing. And I can't search the combo turbo-mani with the way that I wanted.I will call fatoyros to take a taste for his price in the mani of P2 Volvos. And yes Toyomad is going to change my mind for the turbo :lol: Where you will be at night?

You need to decide what manifold you're going to use so you can choose the right turbine housing.

If you're using an "s60r" manifold, you need a 5 bolt with wastegate hole.

For the turbo itself, PM Joseph. http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?showuser=620

I don't want to buy this, but in the other hand it is a well known solution.

I don't know how much, but the compression ratio will have difference.

great build! im new to the forums. this looks awesome.

i did notice a few posts back you were having issues with the the grill and the hood relese. my grill used the OEM volvo badge with a little hendge like from a cabinet door, but super small, and 2 small screws on each side so it will flip up, then it has an a small "L" tab with a screw to the back of the badge and an open hole on the other end, to that we put some coper wire, and wraped it to the relese,

i can take some pix if you like? might give you some ideas.
