lookforjoe Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 Installed the '00 R sill plates from Leurven this past friday - Removing the old double sided tape is by far the worst job ever... I used reducer & mineral spirits to soften it up, and I still got blisters on both thumbs from rubbing it off... Once cleaned, new tape can be applied....I also cleaned the rocker panels with mineral spirits & used a heat gun to get the best possible immediate tack...repeat for the rest...They look great, and John did a good job of removing them without bowing the brushed panels.
