Liking it a lot, I'm like 3 pages into the manual, so I haven't been using it to it's maximum potential. I have the kit 18-55 and also a 55-200. I used the kit lens for most of the shots, but some shots I liked the telephoto end of the 200.

thanks. lol yeah I always get on him about those centercaps.

shutter priority. I'm still getting used to the whole barrel aspect of the camera, which is why most of the shots were in autofocus. The only time I've shot full auto on the camera is when I was driving and simply didn't want to mess with any settings while trying to drive and take pictures.

None of your shots were moving so I would go either full manual or AV. Stop down at least two stops. So assuming normal cheapie lens @ f4 stop down to F8. Usually that will help lower end lenses look A LOT better. If in doubt though shoot an iso 12223 chart at F2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11 and maybe even 22 and see where the sweet spot is. Save TV mode for action shots.

F-stops are F-stop

Iso 12223 is iso 12223

Time Value is Time Value

And Aperture Value is Aperture Value.

Time value is Shutter Priority on Nikon

Aperture Value is Aperture Priority on Nikon

Now you can speak Nikon, you've been tainted w/ that canon crap.

I shoot more Pentax and Mamiya. And AV is the proper term. And I was always taught TV not SP because a lot of cameras so not use shutters. But shutter is probably more correct. BTW its not my fault Nikon never made a decent CCD till this year and still cannot make a decent digital lens.

Also lose the "water mark", it's too big and distracting and it's rather lame.

The reason it's there and the reason it's distracting is to make it clear that it's me. if it was the first thing you saw, great, that's the point. B)

To be honest i don't really care what you think, you seem to have nothing good to say...
