The reason it's there and the reason it's distracting is to make it clear that it's me. if it was the first thing you saw, great, that's the point. B)

To be honest i don't really care what you think, you seem to have nothing good to say...

fixed

Honestly from the professional side there is no real need to watermark. Maybe a small txt across the bottom with your web site but no offense no one knows who the hell JacksonD is. So even if they wanted to contact you its not like they could find you based on that. As for piracy, just use lower resolution. Most stock photo places want 20megapixel plus in 8 bit or better. Even the low end no one wants an image thats under 900px. So don't worry. No one is gonna steal this picture promise

I'm just trying to help you make you pictures better looking. The water mark is both distracting and unecesarry at your skill level. Don't take that as an isult, it's not meant to be. There is some good in your pictures, but for the most part you need a lot more practice.. I would try shooting in Program mode(P) since you control the white balance and ISO settings, get used to setting those, then move to Shutter Priority and/or Apperature Priority, then to manual. Practice taking shots of the same thing w/ many different variables then compare the results so you can see how your camera works.

I personally think calling ones self a photographer is a earned privilegde, one thing I hope to maybe achieve one day. Until then, I'm just a musician that likes to take pictures. ;)

cool. For some reason when I read some of your comments it just comes off unnecessarily rude. :) no biggie though, I know what you're saying.
