Someone should let them know.would you compare a volvo engine to a porsche or ferarri engine performance-wise? 10W30 is recommended by volvo probably for a reason. TDIs use 5w-40, diesel trucks use 15W-40, Volvo S70 10W-30, and I use High Mileage which is thicker than 10W-30 anyway. any thicker just hurts efficiency. Until the day I buy a car that gets serviced at the dealer its going to be castrol.@ Sanderberg Volvo in Lynnwood I was told that they use Chevron products is this what is recommended by factory?
