Carbon_R
For those of you that are not interested on a stand alone but would like to tune your car and keep it OBDII ready (Pras, Mike, Scott), 034 Motorsport has announced its partnership with Unitronic, providing chip tuning for your Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, or Volvo. They can do big turbo, stage 1/2 on their new Land & Sea loading dyno, if you guys would like to give it a try let me know. I may be able to set a group of people up for tuning and pricing Keep this post clean, I'm not comparing it with IPD or Rica, just a new option for us as a group. As of right now, it will be custom tuned and as more people do it then the ECU can be reflashed.LINK
Boomin850
LOL...I love how I said he should do Volvo. Personally I think he can take the market if they come up with good tunes....and I think they will with that "heart breaker" dyno. If I were to stick with Volvo I'd be all over this
94850tx
Has anyone done much business with them? I was looking at buying a Spec clutch from them.
mbaker
very interesting... that might be cool to find out how it works... but does RICA do special tunes for bigger turbos and injectors? other than "stock" volvo ones?mike
Account_Deleted_T5M
So this is a soft-loader option with which the car can be put back to stock, i'm just a little confused with how the tune will work. One thing is saying it's a tune FROM 034, and if i'm reading it right it's a custom dyno tune, but didn't i read somewhere that they sell a standalone system for the car? Sorry if my post makes no sense, i'm very tired.
prasamin
Man, why couldn't they come up with this when I was in California....I would have totally driven up there and gotten it done, no question....Now, it's kind of difficult for me to do it, obviously.I need someone in TX, OK, or LA with this capability. prasamin
Can Javad get us pricing on a GT35R daily driver tune? Something conservative, yet taking advantage of all the crap done to my car?

Sorry if my post makes no sense, i'm very tired. If you look at my car under the project section, you'll see that I've been using their stand alone IIC ECU for 1 year with no issues on a modified base map, meaning a bit of tuning but not for flat out runs since I had an auto box. 034 just got their new AWD dyno about two months ago and the waiting time is 3-4 weeks out, freaking Audi guys!!!To answer your question, it's a custom dyno tune because of the different applications based on turbo/injectors/motor mods and not one car will react the same, what works for mine may not work for yours but it gives them a base platform to start with.034 wants to do custom for now until they get a good variation in cars and a couple of tuned cars under their belt to have a better understanding of our community. I would of done this if it was an option back then Sorry Pras, but you need to drive here for that. Also, besides SPEC, they are a distributor of Southbend clutches which I should of bought
prasamin
Well, you and I have the same shit under the hood sans the extra head work you did, so is there anyway for them to do a base tune on your car? Since you switched to standalone, I doubt it, but they may know better.I wouldn't mind giving them business, but at the same time, there is no way for me to make a drive that far anymore. If I had the summer off, I would just go to EPL in the NE, or 034 up there and be done with it, but time doesn't permit that for me.I've got to do something through the mail...so, it looks like IPD or RICA are my only options.....and since RICA isn't willing to work with me on giving me the correct map that I was supposed to get in the first place, I will probably go with IPD.I hate these vendors that don't support their customers after THEY have screwed up....it's happened to me way too much, and I'm getting sick of it. I'm going to start badmouthing everyone that crosses me now. I'm not even going to give them a chance to correct the situation. VS needs to know the difference between the chumps and the real companies that back their customers.Raf, if Javad or you come up with any bright ideas for me, just shoot me an email bro.Oh, and say hey to Sin! Carbon_R
Pras, I'm waiting for Javad's reply. I also spoke to Javad about making a manifold for my 850, he said he can make a log style from stainless for $800 but if we get more people he will work something out and these will have T3 flange and he will include the external waste gate flange if you desire it. I have two people wanting to do it, get 3 if possible. He told me that the log style should outflow the S60R manifold for sure.As far as a full tubular manifold, he said they can do it but it will be more $$ and it depends on how many people will opt for it.If you guys are interested, I can ask more questions, just let me know.Later.. BlackT5
It would be awesome to have someone to produce manis for our cars. Once they get the first ones made, they could be made to order.I was trying to get the same thing done by full-race. Geoff said $600ish for a log and $1500 or so for a full length. He just needed a car for mockup and a few buyers to make it worth while. They're in Phoenix, AZ though.
