jxke850
is it possible to bypass using a heater core for a short time. possibly using a piece of hosing, to connect the two pipes together?or do you think it would cause any problems? i really dont need the heat to work right now. considering its 70+ outside. Boosted5cyl
YES. I hope this will work for a 98 V70 R, I have a faint smell at times and haven't looked on the floor for coolant but it's good to know the fix is doable myself if the need should arrise so tight, I love Fridays ! Good post man, pics too..
Guest athenalong
Hi there =]Was just referred to this thread, and it's an awesome help! Yet, I am a virgin at do-it-yourself repair, so please excuse the many perceived stupid questions to follow please =]I'm going to piggyback on a previous question - why oes the glove box need to be removed? I don't see from the pictures why? I saw that the V70 needs to have it done, but I have an S70 '98 - does that still need to be done? Also, do you only need a torx screwdriver? Is there a specific size?Is there a safe way oe preferred method tu pulling back the carpet/padding?Any other things an idiot would need to know before undertaking this task? Thanks in advance for any and all help!
