Obama's national health care scares the shit out of me

i deal with a lot of nice sized business's. i've asked many owners what they think of a national health care program and what would they do if it was offered.

most would be for a program but all agreed that whats currently being batted around would be a joke.

now the scary part. if there was a national program almost all would drop their programs and expect everybody to go on a national program for good or bad. If a family program costs these buisnesses 700 per month they said they'd just give the employees maybe a extra 250 per month and be out.

the fantasy of a national program is enticing but what has the government run well/efficently in the last 20 years. i don't know the answer :(

Obama's national health care scares the shit out of me

at the same time McCain's foreign policy aka pretty much Bush's foreign policy scares the shit out of me...no offense I'm all for defending America(Afghanistan) but spending hundreds of billions to spread democracy seems a bit much.

Amen! I promise change, I just won't tell you what that change is! Obama scares me.

But overall the one issue that will make me vote one way, which i don't think has been talked about at all so far in this election is fiscal policy. I haven't heard anything about the deficit or the debt, two things which should be very important to everyone. Thus why I'm not to thrilled with either McCain or Obama because each of them is calling for some kind of spending whether it be defense or the government taking care of everyone, cradle to grave, without putting forth a plan to get the government out of debt. If anyone has info on either candidates position regarding fiscal policy please enlighten me.

Restoring the dollar and eliminating the debt, thats the name of the game for me.

Obama ... hopefully the Clintons will join him, although I suspect not.

Obama has hardly any experiance and nothing to stand on

if the democrats were smart they would have had a better canidate because this is the year they could have taken over the white house after Bush's "poor" showing
