Dmsee Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Well, I looked to my BCS and all 3 lines coming from turboWhich should I connect Use compressor and wastegate line for MBC and leave the third line just plugged in or??
Mesoam Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 IIRC the ECU will just adapt to the MBC and cut boost back to stock on anything 99 and newer but if you still want to tryone line goes from the compressor to the MBC, the other goes from the waste gate to the MBC and the fresh air one just gets capped off
Dmsee Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 Ok here is an update installed it and went for a drive. Hit 15-16 psi on 2nd gear and I felt that fuel cut It says that MBC comes where it would only boost to 5psi and then you need adjustment.
Dmsee Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 Ok, I tried to connect MBC both ways and all the time I had 15psi I connected wastegate and compressor vac lines together and 15 psi WTF?

drjonez Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Sounds like you're using the wrong lines. I'll check color in a few minutes....
Dmsee Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 Here is what happens. If I disconnect the air inlet hose that connect to BCS and have 2 lines plugged into bcs same thing happens when I try to connect MBC
Mesoam Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 how do i know that? because its been discussed quite a few times on the forum...

Good work on actually following through with it. As for connections, make sure you have the MBC pointed the right way. What MBC are you using?
