i really dont know what kind of car i would like to be driving for the next... well long time. they both have pros and cons with them so i need your help with this. the reason i am getting a new car is so i can have something reliable and hopefully with a warranty. o if you could tell me what you picked and why that would be great!!!

thanks alot

mike

p.s. anyone know what kind of gas milage the s60R gets?

this is like no contest.

if you want an R get an R

a real R that is.... S60R. C30R is the swedish GTI. cute and fun but not all that serious. s60r is not for pussies

nicely put!!!

C30 > S60R

Main reason I dont need or ever want another AWD vehicale ever again ;)

arnt the newer AWD better? but that is one of the main things i am very concerned about and with a used car there would be no warranty on stuff like that atleast with the c30 i know if anything happens it will be fixed.

To be honest, if you're just getting married...wait on getting a nice car. I would definitely want a ballin house/apartment before I had a ballin car. That way the C30 will have more time to develop, and the aftermarket for S60s has the potential to get bigger/cheaper.

or unless you like the safety, sure footedness and better daily control of AWD.

****My official short review of the S60R****

When I drove the S60R the salesman informed me that 90% of the power goes to the front wheels unless its needed else where. Not sure how true it is.

One thing I really killed me with the S60R was the turning radius! I know hummers with better a turning radius! But I suppose its something you could get used to.

Other than that I recommend the S60R in manual! Go get em tiger!

Go drive a 1st gen C70, the turning radius is GREAT

Any of our FWD volvo's have a not so great turning radius.

thats correct sir. if you punch it, its spread around to all the tires. no torque steer at all.
