  1. Not a problem Andy, it was good to see you again this year!!
  2. Great Mike, I will see you there! I missed last year as well, too many home improvement projects going on. Yes, that's the right one. The showfield tickets are here:
  3. I just got a motel, because I'm getting too old for this camping in the rain nonsense.... I can bring the R, since I won't need the room for my tent and bed...
  4. Your write up removing the rear view mirror is excellent and I was glad I found it. I do have a question about releasing the mirror stem from the windshield. What kind of tool did you use to lift the tab so you could rotate the stem? I tried using a dental pick but I couldn't find the tab. And, does it rotate counter clockwise to remove?

I'm trying to remove the OEM mirror on my 2012 C70 and mount an Auto-Vox aftermarket mirror that has a built in LCD screen for a backup camera. I'll lose the auto-dim but it will be worth it to be able to see what is behind me.

Many thanks! Bill in Burlington, NC

  5. Thanks Rob. I'll forward this info.
  6. Is the Volvo scene dead? Group disbanded? I have someone asking if there was a group still active in Central FL.
  7. Those mudflaps are really soft and rubbery, so I don't think regular paint will do. However, I may use a black dye to darken it to better color match the body, later.
  8. Picked up a set of mudflaps and took me all of two minutes to install. Naked Flapped.
  9. Yes, I did until very recently, actually. The CFL crew came up to attend Carlisle back in 2011, if I recall correctly.
  10. I lived in Miami from 1998-2007, but never met you. The Orlando crew was pretty active then and I would drive up to attend their GTGs, they have all but disbanded now. I still keep in touch with Jesus though and hang out when I'm there. Car insurance is very expensive in So FL, Michael, just so you know.
  11. Will you start a home decor thread?
  12. Kevin came back and finished the install. What an outstanding guy and excellent workmanship. Even the DRLs were protected.
  13. Washed and then had Xpel film professionally installed on the hood, bumper, side mirrors, door pulls, quarter panels. He's coming back to do the headlights, side skirts and rear bumper, directly behind the wheels. Time lapse of the install.
