Nice looking! Though the manifold seems to be pretty large in size, isn't it? Where are you going installing this engine, P80?

Going into my ‘98 V70R. Aaron test fit the manifold in prototype mild steel as well as when he completed the final stainless version. It fits in, although not a ton of room to spare. The original idea was to have the turbo top-mounted, but it wouldn’t have cleared the firewall that way.

If you’re referring to runner diameter size choice, that would be a question for Aaron. I will try and update once things are complete. The engine is at the machine shop being bored out for Wiseco pistons and will be going back together with h-beams before the engine is re-installed and tuned. Getting close!

Do you notice any improvements in downforce when it's full to the brim with body parts?

Most likely it would negatively contribute to downforce.

The position of the roofbox is mostly between the axles but more towards / over the rear axle. Assuming an average human density of 985kg/m³, an estimated volume of 16 cubic ft. (0,45m³) for the roofbox and allowing for at minimum a 1/3 loss of volume due to parts of human not coming in convenient shapes this means approx. 310,275kg of weight is added to the vehicle. Plus another 15 to 20kg (33lbs-44lbs) for the roofbox itself. This is far to much and completely over the ~75kg  (165lbs) limit as per the owner's manual for the pictured car.

Basically the rear suspension would stance itself, thus raising the front of the car. Not to mention the handling would be completely ruined.

There you go, Kyle.

And thanks to Blockpartie and science, we now know that dead hookers DO NOT improve downforce.

Yea but the front wheel wells and firewall gap are packed with several keys of Columbian bam bam for balance

Damn.

Yeah but, all this “science” and quantitative appraisal doesn’t actually account for the “butt feel” of a vehicle laden with dead street walker. Once you experience how the car actually FEELS with said weight, I think you’d be pursuaded to seeing the advantage. I don’t know, to each their own. Not trying to be an Internet warrior here, can only report on real world experience.

Dead hookers in the roof box usually make the Volvo quicker, IMO.
