Socal Posted July 27, 2005 Report Share Posted July 27, 2005 I did a bit of searching and it looks like my S70 suffers from the infamous hinge problem. Unfortunately, looks like the weld is broken, so tightening the bolts isn't going to fix it. I'm thinking I might be selling sometime in the not too distant future, and I don't think that the door sounding like it's being pried open is going to make a good first impression on a prospective buyer. I was hoping someone might know how much this runs to get it repaired, or if there is anyone from the So Cal crew that knows a good place to get it fixed. -AndrewThe area in yellow is the place where the weld is cracked.
