Gregg
i have mine mounted just like in the picture in the writeup. they are secure, but are susceptible to dirt and small animals being blown up inside (however, no problems so far for the last year).I had them resting between my battery and headlight for a while, but they kept getting knocked around, turning upside down, and then water/dirt would get trapped in the horns they had to be replaced

andrew_the_fox
I am going to do that (horn replacement and relocation) next weekend. I don't think my stock horns are too bad, but I want to see if I can get a louder beefier horn, and of course move them, because they look terrible in the middle of my mesh grille

turbobrick
the only problem i had with putting them underneath the bumper on the splash guard is when removing the splash guard the horn is required to come off...

I did a hella air horn conversion...worked seemlessly except for the fact that the horns are shot but they are where I want them...
BeachRat
I picked up a couple bolts/nuts from my garage and found a few holes in brackets and such toward The driver's side, beneath the battery. Not much help but it really doesn't matter exactly where: they're pretty hardy little bastards.
