TheMadChigga
Some of you know him, he's in Hamilton on King (I'm pretty sure), anyways, I give the shop and the owner three thumbs down.you can read my experience herehttp://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?showtopic=31546Johnathan seems like an ok guy, but he used my car's photos without permission on his ad, which I was willing to ignore it since he said one of his customer gave him the pic, but his customer drove a 940 and its quite different from my 740SE. He has little to no knowledge in red blocks and pratically mess'd up my turbo big time. I would never go to his shop or recommend the shop to anyone. If v8s are so great, he shouldn't be working on Volvos.

Although i have no experience with him..just learned about him though some volvo enthusiasts.Jonathan's Swedish Car RepairAddress : 436 Cannon Street East, Hamilton, ON L8L 2C8Telephone : 905-547-4400 Category : Automobile Parts & Supplies Used & Rebuilt , Garages Auto Repairing , Automobile Repairing & Service Directory : Hamilton
scooke
Not sure what kind of guy he is, but I wouldn't let me vehicle in there again. Went in about a manifold exhaust, I just didn't have the time to do it myself but I guess he thought I didn't know anything about it either, telling me it is one of the most feared repairs they can do, IF they can do it because X number of things can go wrong. I drop it off, and fortunately didn't have to leave town so I was available when he called to tell me the job would be 1000 bucks minimum, likely more because of probable pipe decay and disintegration and subsequent need to custom make pipes, cat-backs, cat converters, the whole deal. Wow. Fortunately I had my time back, went and picked it up, and did the repair myself in 4 hours. His description I suppose counted on me not getting under my car, because when I inspected the system it wasn't at all as he described. He told me if the touch it, or disconnect the exahust manifold, the whole cat system would fall out and fall apart. Wrong. It didn't. What else would he find wrong? Ended up getting it safetied at another dealership who described my vehicle as A1 condition. They found my rear wiper electricals disconnected and the rear panel loose. Interesting, since I used it the very day I dropped it off at Jonathan's shop, but not after. Well, someone went in there and disconnected the previously working wiper. I've heard a few people say how expensive he is. There is obviously a reason why for some of the people some of the time: he's "fixing" things that didn't need it. Avoid.
